My Animal Resume

I’m Caroline, Mum to three non-furry kids, one furry feline, one furry shih-tzu pup, one fish and wife to one very furry husband. Originally from the Midlands, UK, I moved to the island 14 years ago, after a life time of loving animals (nurtured by my Mother who was a dog trainer). We were always surrounded by dogs growing up, and I quickly formed strong bonds with animals. I acquired my first fur baby ‘Zane’ (a Golden Retriever) aged 13, but this was not my first pet. My poor parents were bombarded with requests for various exotic animals as a child, they soon realised they would need to compromise, and every now and then a request would be approved, especially after I started adopting garden spiders and bringing them indoors to live as my pets!!

 I then began a more conventional non-animal related career, where I met my husband, and subsequently led to us moving to our island home. We started a family and acquired another dog ‘Pickle’ a Chihuahua, and our kitty ‘Coco’ whom we rescued from France. 

I always felt that pull back towards being around animals however, and recently spent some time working for The Accidental Zoo in Guernsey, before deciding it was the right time to work with animals once again.

I am really looking forward to getting to know your pets, cuddle them, run with them, play with them and love them like my own.
